metrofi 220?
it is not about the "cost" of the rig, but on how you "value" it.

BTT.

Well known IEMs in their respective price ranges would be the Soundmagic PL50, MEElec M6, ECCI PR100, Klipsch S4, HifiMan RE0, FA Eternas, FA DBA- 02, Panasonic HJE900, Radius HP- TWF11R, Ortofon E- Q7, Sennheiser IE8 and the Earsonics SM3. There are a lot more actually, just be sure to look for the one with your preferred sound sig. ;)
Sheesh

lol, this is getting more and more confusing, lol.

I guess picking the right IEM is definitely the hardest part.

what i mean with the price/performance thing is that the price justifies the performance, vice versa. in simple terms bang for buck.
by performance, im specifically pointing out SQ.

I actually think that those high priced iems are bang for the buck. Price to performance ratio is very high. It depends still on preference. :)

Lol, this is really irking yet cool at the same time. can't really choose very well. lol.

how about if I place my budget at 5K? what would be the best i can get at that price, that would blow my KPP's out of the water?

Another question? do you guys think I should really get an IEM for my next HP? or should i get a real can? lol.

Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith bro... and pray everything turns out for the best.  ;)

Don't limit yourself to headphiles, try searching around in other sites like head-fi, headphonia, any place that might give good information.
