Well, you better get your post count up to 50 ASAP. There's an SM3 in the FS section right up your budget. It's a limited time offer, so.. ::)

can you send me the link for the sm3? can't seem to find it

I just got my aurora cable (not cheap at ~US$130) for my UE TF10. This is similar to Athena (8-way braided) but more expensive.

My initial impression:
1. Bass: It made the bass more pronounced. Not louder but it gave more definition to the bass)
2. Mids: I noticed a remarkable improvement on the mids. It has brought the mids of TF10 forward.
3. Highs: No improvement (highs are as good as it get even with the stock cable).
4. Soundstage: Same with stock cable.

I noticed however that it introduced a bit of sibilance, especially for the mids.

To close, I did not expect that a simple cable upgrade will change the signature of TF10. Is it worth the price? Well, that depends on how deep your pocket can go.

No buyer's remorse for me however :)

Bought the Brainwavz M3 earlier without knowing anything. I trusted the guys in DW and they are AMAZING. I needed a pair as soon as possible and was eyeing for the M2 but they were out of stock so I went with this one. Sound is great. Details are amazing plus the it produces amazing mids. (I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge in headphone vocabulary.. I'm still trying to learn some words :D
