I don't think anyone here can answer how the T50p would behave when subjected to the weather extremes. But with regards to simple sweat, I think the pad pleathers would be able to hold its own against it. I'd suggest regularly dabbing some mink oil on 'em for extra liquid and sweat acid resistance. :)

Hmm.. Now that's something I've been meaning to ask even in the old site: where can I get that mink oil, and how much does it cost?

I assume that all headphones that have pleather/leather pads will benefit from it.

Saw one at True Value Park Square for a cool Ninoy.

Ouch. I assume that one will last for quite a while?

It looked bigger than a pint of Yellow Cab ice cream, so yeah it should last a while.

For Racio, however...

Yeah, I got mine from True Value and I use it regularly on my LCD2 pads, almost on a weekly basis. You can try out some of those specialty shoe repair shops around the malls, I sometimes see them go on sale for 40% off.  :)

I am pretty certain that the T50p doesn't have any AC current running in it, so you are not going to get electrocuted.

I've been eyeing this headphone.
Got a chance to audition it last week, but I don't like what I hear.
Then I recalled it got some fitting issues, tried it again and after a few adjustment it sounds better.
I noticed that the aluminum backplate of the right ear cap is detached.
Anyone experiencing this?

Tested this headphone last week, balak ko kasi bumili nito.
Hindi ko nagustuhan yung tunog, tapos ng paalis na ako I recall sa isang review na may fitting issues.
So yun bumalik ako and adjusted it, at yun ok na.

But yung na try ko na detach na yung aluminum  backplate ng ear caps, sa right side mismo.
Anyone experiencing this?

Can you provide the English translation please for our non Filipino members :)

well its been a while since I had this but the re clamping Beyer did for me improved the sound immensely though it still veered to the treble side but not piercing - more of a warmer and more welcoming treble. The cups are such though that positioning will have a big effect on the sq and of course pressure on the cups improves isolation and bass response.

They are no bass monsters but their refinement for me was excellent when I had them after the mod.
