I'd appreciate any heads up on where I can get a pair of large Earsonics bi-flange black silicon tips. These are the replacement tips for the SM2 and SM3.

I bought a 3rd hand sm3 and is now at um for reshell. Will have to wait for a month.  :)

Yep! No funds for additional driver.  :) lol
I am hoping reshelling won't change the sound sig of sm3. Well, it should be here before the end of the year.

Of all the top universals I've heard, I prefer the SM3 the most. I can't really describe the sound but it was really impressive and handled my library really well. The V2 also fits a lot better than the V1. If I ever upgrade from my GR07 and their six driver universal isn't out yet, I am definitely getting the SM3. I noticed though that it's very sensitive - it hissed with the Fiio E11. I guess you would need an amp like the ibasso t3 to properly amp the SM3 without the hiss because of the high sensitivity.

Earsonics just released the em6. A six driver custom, hence the name. What are they up to with their universals now.I hope more good things.
