The ESW9 is creamy smooth, laid back with a tube glow and some slight roll off in the highs and larger sound stage than the dt1350.

Worst case scenario is you can get them from Audiocubes:

http://www.audiocubes.com/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=3072

Though it seems they're sold out, but selling some ate higher cost

there's one in Audiogon, A review unit, but it's cheaper by 200 bucks:

Ooh, pretty nice deal. Racio should get this and be one of the lucky 2000 ones.

I just watched a video review on these cans, and initial impression is that although clarity is impeccable, bass response is "subdued" compared with the rest of AT's cans... this is definitely disappointing really... :-\

Bass response on all high end ATH cans outside of the ESW/ES is almost always subdued - just ask Ken on this aspect lol..

Bass? R10? Probably not. The L3000 is an audiophile headphone capable of satisfying quality loving bassheads just like the LCD2

Oh and the R10 is not an Audio Technica  ;D

ah It's really a challenge to find a full-sized equivalent of the ESW9s isn't it? it's either hard to find or too expensive, or both. :))
