Superlux HD660 versus Superlux HD661

Ola!

Unfortunately, I didn't totally dig the Grado experience. I do miss its representation of Satriani or Malmsteem but I realized that my ears like more POW! (bass :).

HD660 came to the rescue. Sastisfied with SQ? very! A good all-rounder. However, I haven't read a comparison of this cans with the HD661 and I feel a lot of people in the interwebs are looking for the face-off. :)

Congrats bro! Where did you get your unit? the Listening Room has 3 models you can compare with.

So the MS1 gets not that much loving....  :-\

yes it did. Got mine from filters exchange. Ur cables are rad! hahahah. it paired well.. it sounds like a FAT grado. Aggressive then wacks ur face with a pillow. hohoho

I was that guy sir.  ;D  I was anxious as well to try out the HD660 but I had to leave early (I was only there for 2 hours). Bro Sese and the others could have been the judges. Hehe!! I'll try to drop by at the Listening Room this weekend, I guess and see how these cans fare against each other.  ;D

The Listening Room Megamall has a Superlux audition unit with the 661, 662f, and 681. I tried all of them for a short while today but of the three I liked the 661 the least. The 662f has excessive, blistering treble while the 681 (which I liked best) had tamer treble and better mids.
