LFF just commented that the hd600 is more natural and neutral sounding than the HD700. Hmm, thats too bad.

If I only knew that they were releasing this early 2012, would have waited for a price drop
for a cheaper 650 or buy the 700 instead.

Actually the price of the 650 went up. It's now $500 on Amazon. Go figure.

My guess is that they don't want to have such a big gap between the pricing of the 700 and 650, but then again, $500 is still a very large gap.

Though with a lot less bass thump than the HD650 - I think I will stick with the hd800 for most things and the he400 for bass thump :)
