The photos always make it look better. If it's indeed brushed metal, then it's worth considering. Those ear pads look iffy, like they were made for elephant-eared people. Leather in a Monster headphone? They might be crossing into Bose territory in terms of color scheme and form factor, but a new product is always eagerly anticipated somehow.
I can already see the target market for these things: Young professionals who aren't into the "loud" statement style of the other Monster Beats headphones, but still seek attention (to detail).
