...the way the artist intended? and i dont like noise-cancellation one bit... maybe half a bit.

but, the brushed finish is quite attractive.

the cups look like those of Sony's on a Beats headband.

they said that on the beats studio and it sounded like every artist wanted their music to be bass heavy

but, the brushed finish is quite attractive.

it's look really expensive. brushed metal and i think the black part surrounding the logo is leather(?)

EXECUTIVE DECISION
for those who demand the best, the executive is in a class all its own. these high definition headphones combine beats’ legendary sound quality in a more refined package. the result is a sophisticated headphone that suits your style and lets you hear the music exactly the way the artist intended. be the first to upgrade your sound to first class.

Hmm looks like they're trying to expand their market, but the question is, what are they targeting for the Executive? :)

I kind of want to ask if Monster would let me try them. And these are aimed for people who are more pretentious than the "average" Beats owner.
The formula of headphone ownership satisfaction is oH = n+1, where "oH" is the optimal number of headphones you need and "n" is the number of headphones you currently own.

Laptop->EMU 0204->HK430->Beyerdynamic DT48//NaNite N2->Audio Technica ATH-2 or Monster Turbine Pro Gold

Someone take one for the team so I can audition. :)

Currently my "basshead" needs are taken care of by my Grado but I still need to get either a Beats Pro, an XB1000 or maybe this.

Home: Mios, Lelouche, GS Ultra
Portable: Merlin, MS400, ESW9, X10, Hephaes, Popo, RealVoice, Solo HD

i think that's just how they want to call it so people would really notice them starting from the name itself...

solo, studio, pro then executive..

from the way i see it, they're an upgrade from the beats studio's flimsy build (plastic headbands).. with an added battery saver feature.. and the price on monstercable website is $399.95 which is obviously just higher on the studios

the automatic centre in trinoma won't let the beats be auditioned anymore.. just have to find another branch  :)
