100k yen is the MSRP right? So we would probably see it a bit lower, as the W5000 had a higher MSRP.

That is, if it's gonna be sold outside of Japan.

Well, they seem to be selling for closer to MSRP. For example, the W1000X's MSRP is $700 and it sells for $600 in most places. But if these are sold for $700, I'll be hard-pressed to let it sell out. I'll just have to give up on getting a multitude of headphones. And maybe wait for a couple of reviews.

And we can find a way to get them if they're Japan-exclusive.  ;)
The formula of headphone ownership satisfaction is oH = n+1, where "oH" is the optimal number of headphones you need and "n" is the number of headphones you currently own.

I have the PRO500MK2s in black, even though I'm an Audio-Technica fan myself for their warm sound, I wouldn't recommend it. The fit is terrible, if the PRO700MK2s clamp so hard considering it's already a circumaural, the PRO500MK2 has the same clamp and it is on ear.

I bent the PRO700MK2s by 200 degrees and they are now very comfy; however, the 500s even it lost it clamp still feels uncomfortable. It is really just a DJ headphone.
