Yeah the tightening is normal.
How does it compare now when playing the tracks you mentioned in your first post?
emarosa has become tolerable na. though i blame it on the mix because their other albums sound fine. its still quite shouty but not as deafening and overpowering as out of the box. im surprised with the lows though. they really came alive. really defined and punchy. even bands where the bass guitar gets thrown to the back (like most modern metal bands) get the bass up a bit to be heard.
converge - axe to fall is still quite jarring but the producer intended it to be that way. the "whistling" resonance is partly gone now. but i guess that level of refinement could only be had on higher models. or the alessandro if im not mistaken
