Fell in love with these when I first tried Zel's pair more than two years ago. I finally have one for myself. I must say, I am starting to have quite the menagerie of good-looking cans.

These sound just like I remember, very nice midrange, soft warm tone and pretty expansive, open sound considering it's a closed-back portable. Same weaknesses I remember -- can lack in detail and clarity so a good source is a must for the best sound. It drives well out of an iPod but if you want to wring the most sound out of it I'm thinking a good DAC and a neutral, liquid amp is a must.
I am getting too many new toys and not enough time to do a proper review.
I will do one for the Carbon Fiber Beast MkII and give it a good Vs. match with these new babies as the two take the same slot. But my initial impressions may be surprising.
