Yes..Retails for 560.. Some NASCAR drivers use them.. The cups really cover the whole ears for better isiolation.. But they cost 560.00.. & are very HARD to find on the used market.. Plus like the DT48A they come bare ended.. The HD280 audio metric is cheaper.

If you wanna know how well your headphones really isolate, go to a pistol range like I did where the guy next to you is firing a .45 ACP with hot loads.  I had earplugs in and shooter muffs on top, and I gave up after less than a minute, my ears hurt so bad.

Just to give you a little tid bit. The DT48 was used by the Gestapo (Nazi Germany) (Think CIA for America) for surveillance due to the DT48's technical prowess which greatly bettered anything at the time. & many useful documents on the DT48 was lost during the war according to MR Klaus Plum. The DT48 surviving is a small miracle in itself IMHO. So the DT48 is still shrouded in mystery.. Like the Sphinx, but on a much smaller scale.. Facts like these that you never heard about are just a sample of what will be found in my review. Sorry for the teasing..
