It will take a while. Maybe 1 page per DT48, so that's 10 pages. I'm still waiting for my NAGRA 25ohm model.

You should do a comparo for sure but give us an 'executive summary' of the editions :)

I owned 13 or 14.. The NAGRA 5ohm from the 50's & the DT48e 200 with stock rubber pads from 68-72 are the best sounding IMO.. The later was bundled with the NAGRA VL, & I'm convinced they were tweaked for this recorder.. A Beyer employee that worked for Beyers for 50-60 yrs doesn't believe any DT48 (I asked him this question, since many sound a bit different) were tweaked for a certain device, but with all due respect I'm convinced of it. My recabled 50's NAGRA 25ohm has been shipped. When I get them I will start braining storming want I want to do, & give rough drafts to Marcus to see what he thinks, if he's ok with it.. The 68 NAGRA I owned was awful by DT48 standards..imagine the music being squashed together.
