-----

It looks similar to Dr. Dre's Beats Studio. Hope it's priced competitively (i.e., cheaper than Beats). I'm not a fan of ANC headphones though since I don't like the feel of the pressure ANCs give off to my ears.

EDIT: Whoops! Wait a minute! DUAL DYNAMIC DRIVERS!?  :D

Looks pretty cool, but I'm not into ANC. Hope you can use it as a normal set of headphones as well. having read the article more, you can use it as a normal set of headphones.

What got me reading more into this can is the dual driver configuration, much like the Phiaton PS320.

So two drivers per side and a noise-canceling circuit to boot... I'm curious as to what the headband is made of, because pictures can be deceiving.

That's quite possible with many companies making their headphones fashionable. The only advantage of Monster, particularly their Beats line, is their marketing.

In a way, the Beats started the focus on style in headphones.  :)

Monster has reached saturation point, nothing will tip it over unless Apple release their own headphone of 'quality'.

but I do miss an active NC can and if this can overcome the traditional bad sq from ANC headphones then I might take a bite.

When I played the Bose QC-15 on the iPod with Bass Reducer EQ, it sounded a lot like the Shure 940.  It was only a 2-minute listen, but sure sounded good.

I had the qc3 for a while, very confortable and good isolation, nay great isolation, but your right - the sq was just off.

Now the qc15 you think is sonically superior? I would want to a/b this M40 with the Qc15 if that is the case.

Or if by some incredible miracle people start realizing just how lackluster in performance the Beats are. But that's a big IF

I likey.

Kinda expensive though.

Headband seems to be made of some kind of plastic resin.

I hope it has metal reinforcement underneath.

It would be awesome if it had the same material as the stretch O'neill  :D

These look really nice.  Im just not a fan of the color.  But i think they based it on the color of their speaker drivers, specifically the reference line.  If they sound really good, I wouldn't mind paying $350 for this.

The Klipsch Reference One is also coming out at $180 USD, so those might be competitive even with the price difference.
