thanks for the recomendation... very informative site.  :D

It's no HeadFi but generally I think this place is friendlier and more helpful. And being in the RP it's easier for you to deal with the members in case you get a case of upgraditis.

I hardly even visit headfi anymore because of the lack of user friendliness to their new interface. I only go there to research before getting new stuff. Now I hang out here.

Yup, this is definitely *the* hangout. HeadFi is for research purposes. I still hangout there "a bit" but most of my time is spent here.

True that, but headache to buy stuff from the US haha.

One of these days I will setup a credit card and/or PayPal account and buy a rare headphone of that place.

yup they sure do rock! :)

are you using them with tube amps? i drive mine with the little dot mk2 but i feel a better amp is out there... the audio-gd c2c can also give them a bit of low end boost...

did you source them from outside the country?

me too.. i didn't even reach 10posts there i think.

I have no idea how I amassed almost 3000 there. It's generally more knowledgeable for the more obscure things, like orthodynamics and rare headphones, but there are just too many people there now. Too many completely different (a lot of off base) opinions to confuse a newb. The FS section really is epic though.

Signing in with a Beyerdynamic DT220.
The formula of headphone ownership satisfaction is oH = n+1, where "oH" is the optimal number of headphones you need and "n" is the number of headphones you currently own.

oh i just found out about this thread :D happy dt880 (250 ohms) owner here! (thanks to doc egay!) :D

i hooked up the 880's to the JDlabs P4 and they are a great match! in my ears they are better paired than the 880's to the Dared MP5 (Tube Rolled) :D happy ears as of the moment :)

how you doing bro Neil! :)

a lot of new gear unloaded by various members recently! it's a party here :D

nice to hear about the synergy with the p4, JojoD should know about that, i think :)

i recently hooked the beyers directly to my soundcard sound out just for kicks, and it can drive the beyers! at least i could give the amps a bit of rest now. marvelous solid-state synergy we are both experiencing :)
