Initial impressions: My previous experiences with dynamic-driver based IEMs were wrought with compromise - some were too dark and bottom-heavy, others V-shaped with recessed midrange, spiky/piercing treble, and so on. This early I can say that this unassuming gem from VSONIC finally hits the spot that I'm looking for - no fatigue, no shouty parts of the spectrum, neutral yet incredibly textured and visceral midrange, and fairly deep sub-bass that stays unobtrusive.
They remind me of the Westone UM3X monitor-like sound signature and I daresay they sound very close to it - a testament to how much of a ridiculous value these are (they retail for around the $155-170 mark). Full review to follow once I've run them through a period of burn-in this week.
