Signing in with my MDR-V6. Ears can't hear the difference between this and my older MDR-7506. But I love having them in my possession.

A friend in the states was looking for a nice replacement for her crappy buds. I saw this cheap on amazon for $60+, told her to get it and asked if she could buy one for me too.

you should snag a cd900st if you see one for sale in the US.. and sell it to me if youre not contented with its sound ;)

it never hurts to get another one for spare parts 8)

nothing haha.. headphone out through T51.
although i use E6 with blue EQ when it is pairing with the ipod touch. its perfect to my ears.

i tried different amps/daps for it, but in the end.. the ones i expect it to sound better made it sound worse :(

like the hm602 for a DAP, it made the cd900st too warm which doesnt sound right at all.
toucan made it sibilant even on non sibilant recordings.
the pico made it really sibilant on sibilant recordings.
headstage arrow 3g made its soundstage too narrow.
i forgot how it sounded with ttvj slim and rsa mustang.
the t5 sounded like... nothing has improved, it just made the volume louder. haha.. i could be wrong though since i tested it with a very short time.

the cd900st sounds great unamped, although it scales well when it is amped.

a rare pokemon headphone

it sounds mediocre compared to the ST version though, according to japanese people
