The Sony Club

Just spreadin' some more Sony love, starting off with the classic Studio Monitors, the Sony MDR-7506.

Photo c/o moi

These are my companions whenever I troop to the arcade to play games with an audio jack, which usually have electronica music.

Also great for noisy environments; since I sold my ES7 these have been my go-to closed headphones. :)
Cans: AKG Q701|ATH-AD700/ON303/T200|Grado RS1/HF2|HiSoundAudio PAA-1 Pro|Sennheiser PX100|Yuin PK1
Amps/DACs: AMB Minił HP/ER|FiiO E6|iBasso D12|Millett Hybrid MiniMAX
Sources: Acer Aspire 4920G|iPod Classic 6G|iPod Shuffle 3G|Nokia E7-00

2rooi should sign up in this SONY Club, I know he has a couple of Sony IEMs/earbuds and headphones.

What I want to try is Z1000:

well, since we are talking about 'want-to-try's, I guess the Sony that I want to try (and hopefully own) would be...

the legendary MDR-CD3000.

since they require a good amount of power to properly drive these cans, never mind. head-fi says that they're sensitive.

I only had the sa3000

Oh, how do they sound? Please do tell.

Wow the pads on that picture still look intact. I had to spring for Beyer Dynamic velour pads for my 7506.

wont the velour pads make the sound 7506 veiled? I tried using velour pads with an MDR CD900-ST (not mine) before and it sounds ugly...
