have the same can, bother in-law gave me few years ago, changed the pads to cdr-kings.. hate the coiled cables

the legendary MDR-CD3000.

since they require a good amount of power to properly drive these cans, never mind. head-fi says that they're sensitive.

Wow the pads on that picture still look intact. I had to spring for Beyer Dynamic velour pads for my 7506.

wont the velour pads make the sound 7506 veiled? I tried using velour pads with an MDR CD900-ST (not mine) before and it sounds ugly...
