Would love to test the DiddyBeats. I am curious how they sound compared to the Metro.Fis and other stuff.

I'm sorry I already sold them.. hihi

IMO, they really have a well defined solid bass.. I like them than the IE8 the bass is more solid and imaged.. for me, they have similarities with the FX700 a bit but the Fx's many steps ahead of it but not so far.. but the Fx made the DB sound veiled and recessed IMO.. the basss of the FX is slightly better on the highs they have the same extension but the timbre of the FX just trumps the DB.. my first impression on them (DB) was very good right out of the box.. they met my expectations.. they sounded so good to me even if they're only 35-40 hours of burn-in compared to the IE8s (300 hrs) I auditioned..

but that's just my ear talkin  ;D

has anyone tried the PROs? any feedbacks?

Yeah, they sound like the M50, but a bit better. Well, by better I mean more enjoyable. The mids sound way too boosted up, the bass was bloated, but fun, the highs were just like the mids. I could write more if you want.

If you are willing to get the Pros, they are sold for $350 on Amazon... if you get used they are about $280.  That's half the price new... with shipping and Dinkoy costs you'd run around $17,000. For the used ones you can get them for about $14,000 all inclusive.

Thank you. My Auntie already ordered at amazon for a price of $349 hahaha ...

but unfortunately she doesn't want to use JAC because she had a phobia on giving the CC number based on her past experiences on other companies. (not JAC)

So it would take a while before I get my hands on those.. but hey, the Pros look like tanks and based on reviews they're really durable.. Rock solid build

I hope they won't make any comfort issues to you  ;D

Aw shucks. But your description makes the DBs sound like they have the bass of the MetroFi's, but the mids and highs of the  Eternas. I really would love to hear them now, haha.

My ears are tought. They have no issues with any can!

Too bad your aunt already ordered. You could have gone The Dinkoy route and gotten the cans a week or two from now without using JAC or any credit card... just deposit the moolah to Dinkoy and he does the rest.

If you have heard the Bass of the coppers and Tours they are pretty much the same but the DB's has greater extension on them and attack.. example Usher's OMG the coppers don't fall short on them (for me)

but the DB's shows how it must really sound on the bass and it handles it very well..

one song that really shines on the DBs is Nelly's The Longest Yard.. it has 2 different bass.. the coppers can't handle the 2nd bass but the DBs make your ears vibrate on the 2nd bass.. the impact of the 2nd bass is well presented and aggressive

Great! I mean they say the earcups really put pressure on their ears and along with that is they find it heavy...

I remember a review about it he mentioned his lifestyle and he goes to the gym and when he bought the Pros he says it wasn't heavy to him...

makes me think that it's because of his workout  ;D

Well, the entire sound is totally colorful. I actually want a pair, but it isn't worth that much. And people don't lie when they say they're heavy. They make my DT48's (all machined aluminum) seem light. They're probably a good deal for $150, but they sound so inaccurate that for $200, I'd pass. Seriously, the mids, bass, and treble sound totally wonky (take a software EQ with any headphone and turn everything 3/4 the way to the top. Actually, bass and mids up 10dB, treble up 7dB It's a similar effect.)

It's nice that we can actually have a nice discussion about Monster here unlike on headfi :P

Which of the Beats' line of IEMs do you think is the best? I mean not including the Turbines line

The thing about Head-fi is, well, people want to feel like they know things, because so many people go through that site, so they spew out any random information they've seen before from someone credible, when in actuality, it's blown out of proportion. While here, I like it because it's more of a family here than random strangers in a "my gear is better than yours" contest, and we can have actual conversations here without flamers.

And I think the Jamz series is the best, in a technical sense. Not that I've heard the Tours. But I did like the Diddybeats. They sounded like an improved M31. Then again, I would buy the DB over the Jamz at the same price.

I've been selling them since February to my classmates and their friends.. I only get to sell them now because my gf helped me haha..

I need the money for my braces hehe ..

I miss them that I only want them in my collection and be proud of them.. but my ears sometimes can't stand with them because of the FX700 hahaha ...
