it is not about the "cost" of the rig, but on how you "value" it.

I'm still hoping that they come up with some great bang-for-the-buck full-size cans, but yeah, the E10 looks pretty cool.

I wonder what improvements in sq did Soundmagic do with this new lineup. ::)

Buying into a flagship product doesn't earn a person a license to diss any other "lesser" gears anytime he feels like it.

the clip ons really intrigue me... something new from soundmagic... hope they still maintain that bang for the buck principle of good sound at a little budget

P30 -  Your Portable High Fidelity

SoundMAGIC new product, P30, portable headphone, will be launched in April.

The brand new designed portable headphone, which are made by high quality materials.  The metal band used inside the headband makes it solid.  All the plastic parts are using the PC (Polycarbonate), which is more solid & better impact bearing than other plastic.

The high quality PU leather used for the ear pads & headband, will provide you EXTREME comfortable & EXCELLENT noise isolation when listening to the music or watching movie, you will never be disturbed by the outside noise & your ears will not feel tired when using it.  The ear cups are covered by the classic, sparkling look, high quality metal covers, which will protect the headphone very well also.

For the sound signature, you will not be disappointed.  Excellent soundstage, well balanced, powerful bass & accurate sound will take the high fidelity to you ears. When you watching movies, you will feel the theatre sound effect

Thanks for the single-sided cable design, which is only connecting to the left ear cup.  There will be no more cable tangle & frustration problem when using it.  P30 also can be folded and put into the supplied travel pouch.  You can take it with you wherever you go!

Beginning mid April 2011, the P30 will be available in black color, white color will be launched at the end of April, 2011.

The E10 somehow reminds me of the Monster Turbine series.

Anyways, it's good to see SoundMagic still releasing good items. I've had the PL11 and the PL21 before, and I must say I was very impressed.

Yes that was also my first thought (e10 looking like the monster turbines).  Funky looking cable going there though.

I wonder how these will sound.  I was pretty satisfied with the PL21 and I like how the PL50 sounds (enough that I'm thinking of getting one in the future as a sub/swap for the 381f).

And yes, nice prices please.
The first principle is not to fool yourself, and you are the easiest person to fool.
