what i worry about is the build of this iem.
there is a thread in other community that mentions its failure in quality control...
cracks on iem housing.

im hoping it would be cheap...
and yeah, it should be better in build quality than the previous models.

the phonaks is one of the respected brand of iems in the market.
and they created before, good sounding iems. ;D

i wish they didnt create the same over-the-ear type of style, like the previous models.

its too complicated to put / insert on your ear when youre on the go and in a hurry.
the ease of use is very important to me.

from the picture, im guessing its made of plastic.
 :(
but looking from the black one, i think its like metal or something...
it looks cool (black). 8)

^

You already mentioned in your first post that the housing is titanium  ::)

Also, I prefer over-the-ear design when on the go. Easier to put on, and much more resistant to being tugged out of my ears. :P
No source, no amps, no IEMs, no headphones. Just music. 8)

always wanted to try these phonaks/audeo... but must have westone first...

titanium housing is a deal maker though... built to be tough
it is not about the "cost" of the rig, but on how you "value" it.

^no worries, there's blackwing!

So just how will blackwing be opening Titanium housings?  ::)

Also, I think the architecture of BA IEMs are much more difficult and complicated than dynamics, so BW will probably have a hard time (ordinary IEMs are already quite a relative challenge) despite his expertise.

And then of course BW's availability. It's definitely much better not having to depend on bro Roy for everything especially since he's always qutie busy.

In short, it's a matter of security and convenience.
