Where is this EggHead store? In what part of Galleria are they located?

Egg Head is located at Robinson's Galleria at the food court floor. it's in the middle of the techie store area, almost right in front of Office Warehouse. :)

Azathoth's description of the area where EggHead is located is spot on.

When I bought the SuperLux items yesterday, the owner was there. I asked him if he's also the owner of the GoGadgets store in Gilmore, he said yes, so I was correct with my intuition. He's very accommodating and the staff are nice. I'm going back there to audition some of the other stuff that they have there. I'm currently listening to The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album, and I'm smiling because I can hear some little sounds that I haven't heard before using my old gears. I'm really impressed!

Bought my 668B and a E6 there. Very nice staff and will let you audition just about everything with your own source. Had a chance to try out those Senn HD650 as well. Not very far from my 668B :D

Just saw some new Superlux HD660s with built in mics, they are the HMC660E (condenser mic) & HMD660E (dynamic mic).

Btw, someone's selling those 660 headset variants in your area? :P (You're from the US, right?)

They won't sound good without proper amplification.

What is the signature of the 668B? How would you describe them, and which amp did you use. this really sounds really interesting. :o
Trust only your own ears. Mine are different, lol.

Fairly bright (all Superluxes I've tried are), but not as bright as the 661 or 681, They have decent bass response, but are a little harsh sounding. One of the warmer headphones in the Superlux line.

i owned a 668b before, not really similar sound with the hd650. very thin bass, with a bit of sparkle in the treble region. mids is abit in front IIRC.

the hd650 is a dark sounding headphone (using stock cables) so it really doesnt sound the same as the hd668b.

I can agree with this statement.
Tried the HD650 and HD668b and they are definitely not similar to each other.

But for the price , the HD668b is a good headphone that will benefit with a warmer amp for my preferences.

I agree on this. However, the more you use the 668B the more it becomes refined and less harsh. My current setup is pleasing to my ears: iPod 5.5G > E6 (no EQ on) > HD668B.

I'm a happy owner of hd 381f and hd661. Bargain price for decent headphones and iems. I just wish that they had lesser treble out of the box.

I'm in Calif. and they do not sell these models in the USA, I'm guessing no one in the USA wants to be sued by Beyerdynamic for selling copies of their headphones.
Only place I can find that is selling these models is in Taiwan (eBay), or at least any website that lists them in the English language.

A lot of people comment that Superlux IEMs are on the "bright" side...  Can I pair them with a Fiio E11 amp?
