Any suggestion for a powerful ss? I can't have tube amps in my room. Aside from the one we talked about bro marcus. ;)

well maybe talk to Ken about any of the amps he is releasing bro :) might be a gem in there, the G&W is tubed but under cover so to speak.

Ken thinks that Fiio e9 is a winner also and drives his high impedance cans quite well, but not sure if this will work with a low impedance can like the he5-le

PM Alex also Bro, his Lehman might be up for grabs at a reasonable price now that he has his apex ;)

Audio GD-FUN - Class A/B amp which drives my senns to my optimum listening level at 9 O'clock. :D
The way our bro  posts is akin to a caffein overloaded Energizer Bunny on steroids who suddenly decided to pop speed pills while downing a dozen bottles of Red Bull! ;D

Also try the Asgard, heard that it goes well with the HE5 LE (NOT the HE6).

@Marcus: If I understand bro Jake correctly, they're already terminated with banana plugs, if your A1 has regular speaker terminals at the back, you simply have to plug them in. If that doesn't work, cutting the tips and taking out an inch off the ends then winding them to the A1's terminals should sort it out. :)

Hmm.. but it does get hot right? thats usually the deal breaker for me since I only have a very small window in my room.

Too expensive for me bro. Maybe I will try to flirt with that price range when everything else would fail.

Nope, since I'm going for a balanced amp. Schiit is also coming up with a new single ended amp (the Lyr - early 2011 they say) that I'm interested in, since it will be able to drive orthos.

Oooh, where did you get this info bro? Would you know what specific tube compliments they're using? Do you have a link? But whatever it is, color me intrigued and keyed up. :)
