well maybe talk to Ken about any of the amps he is releasing bro might be a gem in there, the G&W is tubed but under cover so to speak.

Ken thinks that Fiio e9 is a winner also and drives his high impedance cans quite well, but not sure if this will work with a low impedance can like the he5-le

@Marcus: If I understand bro Jake correctly, they're already terminated with banana plugs, if your A1 has regular speaker terminals at the back, you simply have to plug them in. If that doesn't work, cutting the tips and taking out an inch off the ends then winding them to the A1's terminals should sort it out.

yup my a1 is banana plug ready  mind you i have 28 of the little buggers lying in a bag somewhere, must sell them sometime.

Nope, since I'm going for a balanced amp. Schiit is also coming up with a new single ended amp (the Lyr - early 2011 they say) that I'm interested in, since it will be able to drive orthos.
