Because of this earphone I'm able to determine that my cx 300 ii is a fake one. This one sounds definitely better than the fake cx 300, its not audiophile quality but if you will use it for sports activity this is a winner. I will use this headphone temporarily for my everyday use until I get a replacement for the cx300. I'm still earning money to get ie8 but it looks like I have to postpone it, planning to buy cx 500 from sir leo then after that then I'll go for ie8.

is that the one you bought from circuit city megamall?

how about the cx380 sport series?  its also for gym use since its water resistant / sweatproof.  based from the design, it should sound similar to the cx95 so its a better option than a cx500

Well, there's the Senn OMX and PMX series. I'm not sure if the Soundmagic EH10 is available locally yet, but those should work as well.

I'm interested in this thread since I'm looking for a pair for sports too. Right now I'm using the schitty freebie Fitness First headphones  :P

Need something cheap as well. The m6 would have been good but the treble is piercing.

The mf220 isnt comfortable when moving, and the cx500 needs recabling :(

preferably something bassy

Apart from those sport oriented branding with obvious ear guides, have you tried attaching your GR07's ear guides to any IEM you may find?

Anyone who runs or do any sports know that bass dictates the pacing of your activity. So it means serious sound will only get you bored.

lol btw I have those philips iems. Sound is something ordinary, as usual by philips. Not that bassy as the box says, nothing special really, it sounds good but what you're paying for is its ruggedness, not to mention its very comfortable to wear even if your ear is already full of sweat. What's good with is that you can easily clean it by washing in tap water.

Tried the GR07, wasnt satisfied as it was too balanced for sporting use lol. I want something that pumps my blood up

Hmm I probably still have my very first IEMs ever the SH9550 somewhere, but like the CX500 it also needs recabling. ugh
